My family was able to experience the London & Paris ABD last summer. This was an eight-day trip that included experiences like a private viewing of the Crown Jewels, guided tours of Hampton Court Palace (the former home of King Henry VIII), an early entrance and tour of the Louvre (before the masses descended), learning to make macarons in Paris, and lunch on the Eiffel Tower while overlooking Paris. One thing that sets ABD apart is that they provide local adventure guides to accompany their guests. I cannot say enough good things about Fern and Chris, the local guides that accompanied us on our trip. Not only did they handle logistics like getting us expedited through Kings Cross to catch the Eurostar from London to Paris and ensuring that our luggage was waiting for us at our next hotel, but they were also vastly knowledgeable about the places we visited and provided us with insider details and information. They even hosted a movie night for the kids so the adults could enjoy a leisurely dinner, which was very enjoyable and much appreciated.
One of my personal favorite memories from our ABD trip was riding bicycles through the gardens of Versailles. When we booked the trip, our daughter was still riding her bike with training wheels. We knew this activity was coming, so we started teaching her how to ride without them. On the day of our Versailles tour, she was able to ride with ease with no training wheels while taking in the beauty of the palace grounds and gardens – a great reward for her hard work!
What impressed us most about Adventures by Disney was how effortless the trip felt. Every hotel check-in, luggage transfer, transportation, attraction entry, and reservation was handled for us. Instead of worrying about logistics, we were free to simply enjoy our vacation together. For families who want a premium, stress-free travel experience, Adventures by Disney is hard to beat.
Every member of my family enjoyed our ABD trip to London and Paris, and we are now thinking about which trip we would like to book next. Wherever that may be, we know that we will make memories to last a lifetime while experiencing new places and cultures with the people we love most – and that is what travel should really be all about
